# Documents

> Create documents, reusable templates, and e-signature flows

Prepare documents and templates, send them to recipients, and keep completed agreements with their signing history in your workspace.

<Note>
  Documents is a built-in Kato workspace app. It is separate from the Google Docs connection.
</Note>

## Enable the app

1. Enable Documents for the workspace.
2. Open Documents from the sidebar.
3. Create a template or send a document for signature.

## Use it in Kato

Enable Documents for the workspace, then open Documents from the sidebar to create templates, send agreements, and track signatures.

## Check your setup

Open Documents and create a draft or template. Review its recipients and content before sending it for signature.

If the app is missing from the sidebar, ask a workspace owner or admin to check that it is enabled for your workspace.
