# Google Search Console

> Track Google Search performance on project records

Connect Google Search Console to bring clicks, impressions, click-through rate, average position, and top search dimensions into Kato Project records.

## Connect Google Search Console

1. In Kato, open Settings → Integrations → Google Search Console and click Connect.
2. Sign in to the Google account that can access the properties your workspace manages.
3. Open a Project, add the GSC tab, and explicitly choose the property to link.
4. Use the date presets or Refresh control to review current search performance.

## Use it in Kato

A workspace owner or admin authorizes Kato with read-only Search Console access. Workspace members then link one verified Search Console property to each Project and view a cached 90-day performance dashboard without exposing Google credentials in the browser.

## Check the connection

Link a property and review a known reporting period. If it is missing, check that the connected Google account has access to that property.

For connection errors or permission changes, return to the integration’s settings in Kato. Confirm the account and linked resource before reconnecting.
