1
Choose the reporting window
Write down the start and end dates of the period you are reporting.
Open the project and review its activity for that period.Separate work completed during the period from older completions and
proposed work. A research note or a newly created task does not establish
that the corresponding delivery work is complete.
2
Check the current tasks
Review the project’s Tasks tab. Check statuses, assignees, and due dates.
Open tasks that appear blocked or need a handoff; their descriptions and
comments may explain the next step. You can also ask “What tasks are still open for Relio?”, naming or
mentioning your own project.
3
Draft the update from the checked context
In Ask Kato, mention the project and replace the dates in this prompt:If Kato cannot establish what happened within the date range, supply the
relevant facts from your review rather than treating all completed tasks
as completed this week.
4
Check every claim
Open the tasks referenced in the draft. Confirm completion, ownership,
dates, and any claimed blocker. Replace uncertain statements with a
question or a note that the detail needs confirmation.
5
Adapt the draft for its audience
Keep internal notes in an internal update. For a client-facing version,
explain outcomes and required decisions in language the client will
understand. Copy and share the reviewed draft through your normal channel.
Generating the draft does not send it.
