Built-in workspace apps

These apps are enabled in Kato and do not require an external provider account.

Limited availability

Google Docs lets members connect their own Google accounts and link selected documents. It is only available when enabled for your environment; it is currently absent from the public catalog.

Choose the right account and scope

Some connections are shared with the workspace; others belong to an individual member. Follow the provider’s guide and check which account, organization, project, or workspace you are authorizing. If an installation or connection control is unavailable, ask a workspace owner or admin to review access. Lumen and Google Docs require each member to authorize their own account.

Troubleshoot or disconnect

Return to the connection’s settings to review its status, reconnect, or disconnect. Reconnecting authorization is different from removing a connection. Read the removal dialog: the data removed from Kato varies by provider. Google and Outlook account removal is managed under Settings → Email & Calendar. Building your own connection? Start with the API quickstart or Kato CLI.
