Use this workflow for a kickoff, weekly check-in, or project review. You will need a Kato workspace, a meeting, and access to the related client or project record.
1

Bring the context into the meeting

Open the meeting, link the client or project record, and add the questions you need to resolve. If you want scheduled meetings in Kato, connect Google Calendar first.
2

Record decisions and next steps

Keep notes in the meeting. Separate decisions from actions: “Use the new brief” is a decision; “Send the revised brief to the client” is an action.
3

Give each action an owner

Create a task for each next step, assign the person responsible, and set a due date when needed. Link the meeting and relevant record so the next person can find the context without reading a separate thread.
4

Prepare a follow-up

Ask Kato to draft a concise summary of the meeting’s decisions and open tasks. Review the draft against your notes before sharing it with the client.
5

Check the result

Open each task and confirm its owner, status, due date, and links. At your next check-in, review the tasks and update their status as the work progresses.
