Connect the Google account
- Open Settings → Email & Calendar. The page is titled Connected accounts.
- Select Connect Google account and choose the Google identity you use for the calendar. Check the email address if you are signed in to several accounts.
- Review the requested permissions and complete the Google authorization flow.
- Return to Kato and confirm that the expected account appears in Connected accounts.
Choose calendars and sync
Open the connected account and select its Calendars tab. Under Google Calendars, enable the calendars you want to sync into Kato. Your primary calendar and a shared team calendar may be separate entries. When at least one calendar is enabled, use Sync now to request a sync. Check any sync feedback or Last synced information shown, then open Calendar in the workspace and look at the relevant date range.Verify with one known event
Choose an existing event whose title, date, and source calendar you know. Compare it in Google and Kato:- Is it in an enabled calendar belonging to the connected account?
- Does it appear in the expected date range in Kato?
- Do the displayed start time and participant information match what you expect?
Troubleshoot missing events
If you need help, provide the workspace, account email, source calendar, event
time with timezone, and the last sync information. Do not send a full private
calendar export to explain one missing event.
Understand removal before disconnecting
Removing a Google account stops its email and calendar sync. The removal dialog also explains that synced email, calendar events, and signatures are removed from Kato; nothing is deleted from the Google account itself. Read that dialog before confirming. Reconnecting authorization is a different action from removing the connection entirely.Use a meeting to drive follow-up work
Prepare an agenda, capture decisions, and turn the next steps into tasks.
