Ahrefs - Kato

Connect your Ahrefs API key to Kato to look up Domain Rating (DR) and backlink stats from Website fields on Projects. Each workspace uses its own Ahrefs API units — Kato never shares keys across workspaces.

Connect Ahrefs

In Ahrefs, open Account settings → API keys and create a key (owners/admins only).
In Kato, go to Settings → Integrations → Ahrefs and paste the API key.
On a Project, set the Website field, hover it, and click the Ahrefs icon to load Domain Rating.

Use it in Kato

Connect your Ahrefs API key in Settings → Integrations → Ahrefs. On a Project, set the Website field, hover it, and use the Ahrefs action to load Domain Rating. Lookups use the connected workspace’s Ahrefs account.

Check the connection

Open a Project with a known Website value and load its Domain Rating. If the lookup fails, confirm the domain and API-key access before retrying. For connection errors or permission changes, return to the integration’s settings in Kato. Confirm the account and linked resource before reconnecting.
