Authorize your Convex team with OAuth so Kato can discover its projects and deployments, then inspect tables, documents, and function logs directly on project records without collecting deploy keys.

Connect Convex

  1. In Kato, go to Settings → Integrations → Convex and click Connect with Convex.
  2. Choose the Convex team you want to authorize and approve access.
  3. Kato automatically discovers that team’s projects and cloud deployments.
  4. On a project record, link the Convex Deployment field to one of the discovered deployments.

Use it in Kato

Kato uses Convex’s team-scoped OAuth authorization-code flow with PKCE. Projects and cloud deployments are discovered through the Management API, and the encrypted application token authorizes read-only table and log requests. Link an automatically discovered deployment to a project record, then open the Convex panel to browse tables, row data, and recent function logs.

Check the connection

Link a discovered deployment and open its tables or recent function logs. If the deployment is absent, check that you authorized the correct Convex team. For connection errors or permission changes, return to the integration’s settings in Kato. Confirm the account and linked resource before reconnecting.
