Link selected Google Docs to workspace records and projects. Each member connects their own Google account and chooses documents through Google Picker. Access follows that member’s Google permissions.
Google Docs is only available when enabled for your Kato environment. It is not currently listed in the public integration catalog. If it is absent from your workspace, this guide does not enable it; contact support about availability.

Connect Google Docs

  1. Open Google Docs in your workspace when it is available.
  2. Connect your Google account from the Google Docs library.
  3. Choose a document with Google Picker.
  4. Link the document to the appropriate records and follow discussions for notifications.

Use it in Kato

Preview linked documents, reply to Google comments, and keep internal notes in Kato. Internal notes stay in Kato. Use the document controls to open the original in Google Docs.

Check the connection

Open a document you selected and compare its title with Google Docs. If access fails, check the Google account and the document’s sharing permissions. For connection errors or permission changes, return to the integration’s settings in Kato. Confirm the account and linked resource before reconnecting.
